    Hi Orlov,

There are two known solutions that we have identified, but both have serious flaws.

    1. It is possible to have a transparent Flash movie overlay the entire page, so when a user clicks we can open a popunder. While this works it blocks the user from clicking any links on the page. They would have to click the intended link again after the Flash overlay is removed from the page once the popunder is opened so we feel it is bad for site usability.

    2. Another thing we have discovered is that we can duplicate the web site you are looking at to a new tab in the foreground and then overwrite the initial tab with the popunder. You can see they are doing it with this script: http://popunderscript.com/ Just try clicking somewhere on the page and you will see. There are several problems with this technique. One is that if you first try to scroll down and then click, the scroll position of the page is lost when the site is opened in a new tab. The other problem is that any tracking scripts on the site, such as Google Analytics will count opening the new tab as an additional page view. Banner ads and wallpaper ads would also be reloaded, which could be problematic if they are frequency capped. For example, if a wallpaper has a frequency cap of 1 view per hour it would disappear from the new tab.

What do you think about either of these solutions? I think that of the two solutions the Flash overlay causes the least problems. I also feel that the Chrome developers will easily figure out a way to block the second method of duplicating the existing site into a new tab.
