Are third party tags allowed and will it affect impressions ?
Hi Mike ,
My understanding is that third party tags are allowed for HTML5 media type. Is it correct or third party tags are also allowed for other media types too (e.g html media)? Does having third party tags in the code affect impressions or any other reporting/tracking aspects of advert serve?
Thanks
Devshree

Hi Devshree,
Yes, third-party tags are allowed for all types of media. There are no restrictions or limitations. The third-party tag can simply be set up as an HTML banner media.
Impressions are counted when the third-party tag is served so there's nothing special that needs to be done there. Tracking of clicks usually works automatically too if the advertiser is using an ad server we integrate with: https://www.advertserve.com/docs/latest/html/manual/thirdparty.html For other ad servers you'll need to manually insert our %%CLICKTAG%% macro, which usually there will be a placeholder in the tags for it.
